2nd generation banana is smaller

Hi,
I have rastali banana plant. Then, it had 3 suckers which had grown big now. However, one of them have already start fruiting even it's only about half of the size of the original (1st generation) plant. Even the banana flower size is half of the size of the original plant.

1. Is it due to many suckers ?
2. Do the new sucker form this 'smaller' plant will grow big as the 1st generation plant if it's separated .

Thanks.

suckers drain energy. but each plant even if its from the same corm can be slightly different. plus environmental factors affect height etc. plant normally have a max and min-height.
eg i have a musa gros michel which can grow up to 15ft but as im in the UK and environmental conditions vary mine only get to about 12 ft before fruiting.
that's my experience anyways. I maybe wrong but this is my understanding of the matter.
