Pinwheel Who can resist an invitation to post!

I just joined and of course received the message that this would be a good time to post an introduction.

I'm from Cincinnati, OH and this is my first time trying to raise bananas. Mostly, I grow tomatoes, potatoes, lettuce, beans, carrots, etc., plus some sweet and hot peppers.

Last year, I raised a lot of toms and some peppers, along with a few Angel's Trumpets and Kenaf Hibiscus to sell. Didn't get rich, but made enough to cover all my growing expenses and buy a metal shed. I also work with the Hamilton County Fair and like to exhibit unique or rare plants there. One of them this year was the Hibiscus which happened to be the Taiung-2 (sp?) variety - I looks a whole lot like a pot plant - so much so the Sheriff's deputies inspected it.

Ordered Darjeeling Giant seeds since they are suppose to be able to survive in Cincinnati winters; minus their foliage, I guess. But that will be a question for next fall.

I also have built a small (12'x16') greenhouse where I have about 40 tomato plants and four heads of lettuce (in hydro) growing.

If so I just received some of these seeds. It does look like pot.

Here's a decent picture. I see some similarities, but more differences I think. Picture pulled off the internet:
