Default Voyager has landed

After 30+ years in Alaska, I decide to move to Hawaii for a change.
We closed on our property acquisition a couple of days ago and have begun to get it ready to move into.
I knew it had a few banana trees on it.
Today I began cleaning up palm fronds, banana leaves and pushing the uluhe back.
Much to my dismay [pleasure], I find that I have at least 25 banana plants in 4 or 5 clumps of 5 to 8 plants scattered around the property.
Some are still buried under the advancing uluhe.
One has begun to put out a blossom.
After I get them all cleared and cleaned up I'll be looking for help to I.D. them.
All appear to be in the 6' to 8' height range. One clump has a reddish color to the underside of the leaves.
I'm thinking that at least some of them are apple bananas because of their popularity around here.
I'll post photos of them as I get them cleared out and cleaned up.

Aloha and welcome. I'm down the road in Seaview. PM me if you ever want to talk bananas. I vend at the SPACE farmers market most Saturdays. The ones with the reddish undersides are Mysore or Iholenas.

Thanks for the welcomes folks.
I have been a raving banana face most of my life.
The thought of having a [one] banana tree has fascinated me,
I am overwhelmed by the fact that I now have at least 25.
I've died and gone to heaven.

And, I do want to learn how to manage the plants for their health, and to maximize the stuffing my face with their fruit.
The latter being the more important, with the first making the second more probable.

I've noticed that the blossom I found the other day has lengthened something on the order of 3" a day.
My first banana delivery is on the boat,[I hope].

With that all said, I do have to admit that my primary mania is for orchids.
But, there is room for bananas in there too.
