Super Dwarf Cavendish
Hi everyone. I am new to this site but am excited to learn from all of you. I just moved to Hilton Head,SC from Tega Cay, SC. Hilton Head is zone 8b, almost 9a.Tega Cay was 7b/8a. I grew miso bajoo there so I left them in the ground. I got bananas but they are edible. When we moved here in May I bought a super dwarf cavendish. It has added about 12-15 leaves but Haven't fertilized yet. What is the best fertilizer and can I leave it outside this Winter? Any other advice about this banana would be greatlyppreciated. Thanks in advance"

Welcome to the Banana Bunch. ... Your questions: I just use 10-10-10 and supplement potassium. Read the forum WiKi for fertilizer recommendations. Info:Fertilizer - Bananas Wiki
If you SDC is still in a pot, I would bring it inside for the winter. |

Re: Super Dwarf Cavendish
How in the universe do I reply to someone's post? Being a reverse computer wiz, I have a hard time learning new forums and such. They seem very complicated to me until something clicks in and sometimes, nothing seems to click in.
I also see that I haven't said thanks to anyone, but I thought I had thanked the people I was supposed to thank. Maybe I don't belong here? I'm feeling overwhelmed. :( noss |
