Default Red banana tree

Hello. I'm new to banana tree care. I cut off the outside stems that looked wilted and rotten. Is it going to kill my tree?

Doubt it. I cut off the old leaves, too, and have never had issues. Just don't cut leaf / stem tissue until it is drying / dying, or at least yellow.

Welcome to the Bunch. ... Please post a picture of your plant. Generally cutting dried dead leaves do not hurt the plant. But ???? what size plant are you talking about???? On small plant the question is what's making the leave to die?
