question about #4233 Manzano Turbana
my wife brought home this cute little bunch of yellow bananas, but they taste like an unripe persimmon...disgusting. they look ripe, but how do you tell?

I've recently been able to get manzano's at the local Asian market. For me they have to look over ripe(compared to regular Cavendish varieties) to be at their best and then there is a short window of time for best eating quality.
