![]() I planted my banana trees around my pool and the mulch is really thick. It seems they have got a fungus or disease. Is there any way to get rid of it and does anyone know what its called? Thanks for your help

![]() I know this is old. Bananas should do well by a pool, but may not like any pool chemicals draining on them, e.g., draining/pumping pool water on them. I have my bananas near the pool pump and I have had to drain some water off the pool to do some work on the pool and the nanas don't like it if too much chlorine in the water. I rigged a hose to the pump filter outlet to drain away from the bananas. Just saying... be careful with too much chlorine near them, or if salt pool drained on them. You can get burnt leaves and black fruit.
