Have fun here.:08: In addition which has been mentioned by Dalmationsoap in the previous post this forum member in Portugal is growing these varieties listed in his post. Your plant hardiness zone is almost the same. If you grow in containers your choices to grow are endless. http://www.bananas.org/f348/list-eur...tml#post293805 Here are some proven plants from this plantsmen. A forum search for cold hardy bananas will reveal even more choices which might be available for you. .http://www.bananas.org/f2/any-info-c...tml#post301510 |

A fast internet check reveals a few prospects in your geographical region...EU:) The links provided in my previous post have a few leads to obtain plants within a few days. A local observation will allow you to make a decision if bananas are a viable growing option and provide a source to purchase your plants. |
