Bananas Brindando Re: Please help

Hi Marin, definitely a lot of varieties. I would go with Namwahs, D. Brazilians and Orinoco for sure.

Welcome to the Jungle
Have fun here.

In addition which has been mentioned by Dalmationsoap in the previous post this forum member in Portugal is growing these varieties listed in his post.
Your plant hardiness zone is almost the same.
If you grow in containers your choices to grow are endless.

Thanks for the reply Cincinnati,
Is it possible to grow edible fruiting varieties here and if so could you recommend a supplier?
Cheers

Thank you so much for asking that question.

A fast internet check reveals a few prospects in your geographical region...EU

The links provided in my previous post have a few leads to obtain plants within a few days.

A local observation will allow you to make a decision if bananas are a viable growing option and provide a source to purchase your plants.
