Owner of a Musa itinerans var. guangdongensis
Hi
I live in a plce were the winters get every cold. So I grow my Musa itinerans var. guangdongensis Family: Musaceae Common Name: Burmese Blue Banana In a pot and take it outside when it warms up and bring it back in when it get cold out. Like it been this july. I have repotted it and cut out one small plant and planted it in a pot. There are about 6 more smaller plants in my pot. I have been trying to find some one to take 3 or 4 of my plants when they are ready to go. I only have one that is starting to get it true leave(1) on it. The person I was going to sale to for $6.00 changed their mind so now I have to decide what I'm going to do with it. Anyone interested in this plant,I will sale for the same price, plus shipping cost. My e-mail address is: cm.mesenbrink@cfu.net Thanks Christina |

Welcome aboard, Christina :) ! There's a lot more to learn here than just bananas. If you have any questions, ask away.
BTW, there are Indian (India) bananas that do very well in very cold regions. Two are Pahari Kela & Sikkimensis. |
