Hi Patty, We just brought them in 10-13-08, this year we bought a different house, so I claimed a store room in the basement, put up some florescent plant lights and gonna go from there, It should stay a constant 70-80 degrees in that room that butts up next to the furnace, Pics in my gallery from 10-13-08.

Thats great, I am glad you both enjoy gardening!!! My wife loves to view the plants in the yard, however she has a hard time understanding my love for planting everything under the sun.
Looking at the leaves, walking around the plants like they are criminals. Constantly watering, picking, pulling, trimming. Is it growing, is it dying, is the soil moist, dry, is that a disease or a fungus??? Its really insane....

Buzzwinders, I see you are in the same zone as me, so I'm wondering what you do with your nannas in winter. This is my 3rd summer for 2 ice cream. Last winter I kept one potted in cool sunroom, & the other I put to sleep on sunroom floor- covered. It had a hard time taking off in spring, so this year they both get potted. Hoping I get a flower next year.
Thank You!!! Sadly, the Basjoo Banana's are not edible, unless you want a really clean colon, lol.
