Cold New super dwarf banana plant

So sad, I was so excited. I ordered this dwarf one cause I already have a regular one. Don't ask me what kind it is, Cause I don't got a clue. I didn't know there were different variety's until I started looking up information on them. I honestly didn't think it would grow for me, especially living in Minnesota, But it grew like crazy, even in the winter when I thought it would die. My plants are all container plants as I only grow stuff in my house. Thought I'd try this new super Dwarf one, got it yesterday and the leaves are all wilted and kind of black and over half of them are tore and when I ordered it ,It said New what ever they mean by that. They had it wrapped in one piece of newspaper in a box. Maybe it froze, I don't know cause its been in the 50's. I wonder since it has a new leaf coming up from the middle if I should just cut every thing else off. Any suggestions. My other plant looks great except every time I get a new leaf they are beautiful for weeks and then some get these little black spots the size of a dime.. Not sure why. Any advise for both of these would surely be appreciated. Thanks and nice to meet you all. Well you know what I mean. This is my first post. How'd I do folks?

Welcome to the Jungle !!

Have fun here.

Sounds like your plant is a little stressed
Give it warmth and good light and see what happens next .....it might be a refund.
If you can help it don't order your tropical plants in the winter might be a little cold yet....brrr
Fingers crossed.

I can't even figure out how to put pictures of my banana plant on here. Cause it asks for your URL. and I'm not that smart.I don't know where to find my URL or even know what URL? is. Never had to do that before. I just do the easy stuff.

Easiest way for me is to scroll down below the "submit" button when I'm writing a post and look for This is the link to upload pictures. Click on that, browse on your computer for the picture then click to upload it to your gallery. I then copy the code and paste it in my post. (I don't explain very well--sorry.)
