Default New and panicking with a musa velutina

I started a musa velutina from seed in 8/12 and has been in a pot since. A couple of days ago I noticed the last leaf that unrolled was real small. Yesterday I saw the flower bud start. It's still in a pot outside but was wondering how long do it take for the flower to come out and bananas to form. I'm planning to leave it out as long as I can but do I have enough time before the cold rolls in?

Welcome! From what I have seen, Velutina can take as short as 2 months from flower to ripe fruit. I'd bring yours in if I were you though. The season at least for me is closing in soon and too soon for any banana.
