Hello Everyone,
I have enjoyed reading the threads very much! I'm sorry I don't have any pics yet, I need a new dig. camera. I have grown bananas for about 15 years now. I presently have musa's ( dwarf Brazilian, dwarf Namwa, Misi Luki, Sweetheart Manzano ). I have grown ( Gran Nain, dwarf Red, Golden Aromatic, Mysore ). My intrest is only tasty desert bananas. If any one has sugestions for other varieties, they must be dwarf or semi dwarf and very tasty, please let me know. Every one I have tried, has done really well here in south Florida. I also grow veggies, mostly tomatoes, when I have the time to prepare. I forgot to mention every thing is grown organically. ![]()

Welcome, and might I suggest "Champa Kala" (Or "Chini Champa") from india. It is one of the more sought after species there. Looks nice too with black pseudostems, and is not too big. Small fruits loaded with taste.
I haven't tasted it, but the general description makes my mouth water.
