![]() I found my way here from the Garden Web Forums and it looks like a great place be if you plan on growing and or selling Bananas. I live in West Los Angeles and am currently growing/trying to grow 6 variaties that include Jamaican Red, Hawiian Apple, Hawaiian Ice Cream, Dwarf Cavendish, Cambodian, and some sort of lady finger. All total I have 12 plants and lots of pups. My biggest plants are the Apples and Reds that are about 6-7 feet at the top of the trunks. They have been in the ground for 3 months now. I had a problem with the leaves growing out crooked making it dificult for them to open so I cut back on the water and seem to be doing better now. I look forward to learning and possibly trading some plants around here! Mitchel
