Hello fellow Members.
New member here. I have several "Texas Star" banana plants I purchased from a mail order nursery. They were advertised as cold tolerant. After reading several comments on this blog. I think I just divided and replanted several water plants. I am very interested in growing a cold resistant variety that has good eating bananas. Any suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks Redwasp |

Welcome! Dwarf Namwah is also a very good pick. Not quite as cold hardy as the other two, but produces great fruit.

Re: New member.
I planted two small plants today. One Ice Cream and one Texas Star. I got them from Greenearth Co. I also received one California Gold, one Goldfinger and one Apple. I am not sure where I am going to plant those.
Maybe in large pots (empty molasses feeders). |
