New grower in NY.
Hi All. Wife and I bought a house. Now sorting out our landscape. We have a pool we love and I'm trying to grab some tropical feels.
I currently have 4 basjoo cold hardy plants in 4 separate pots and their leaves are growing nice and bright. But now I'm on a mission to find out how if I should plant them in the ground or leave them in the pots, and then how to fertilize accordingly. Cheers |

I'm nos stranger to forums so I'm sure i'll get down the rabbit hole soon. I need to find out the best way to amend the soil. I'm still debating about ground planting because that will be a big risk for the winter. I'd love to keep them in the ground if I can. But will see. |

Then overwinter indoors This plant does better when the roots are established for a few months before the first Hard freeze. |
