New Experience
Hello everyone,
My family will be visiting Florida this summer and I am looking for a banana plantation to visit where we can see and sample a variety of bananas. We will be staying in Lakeland and Ft. Meyers. Does someone know of a good place? Thanks |

Re: New Experience
From the Sea,
Thanks, I spoke to Going Bananas this morning and it was explained to me that they are a plant nursery and not what I am looking for. It was suggested I try Fruit & Spice Park. Still, seems like a long drive for a banana. I somehow thought there were several plantations between Orlando and north Miami. |

Welcome to the Jungle!!:woohoonaner
Try the local Chamber of Commerce there is a good chance they might steer you in the right direction. There are many noteworthy public tropical gardens in the areas you will be near that are worth checking out.. Good luck |
