Default New from Eastern Shore, Maryland, USA

Hi, enjoying the site. Right now no bananas in my zone 7 garden.
Found site by googling starting tree peonies from seed! Found Ante in Croatia who raises olives. Enjoying his profiles since I have family in N. Dalmatia. Keep getting surprises! Have been considering planting a hardy banana next year. I am into "Gesneriads" and my local plant group visited
John Boggan's home in Washington DC where he grows hardy bananas!
I love propagation and start lots of things from seeds. Since I am near the water many things survive here that should not. I do grow Brugsmania and Plumeria, but bring them in for winter. Hope to turn my garage into a greenhouse.
I shall post some photos soon!

A warm welcome from Georgia, Donna.

Great that you enjoying growing from seeds. Do you collect your own seeds? And what an interesting idea it is turning garage into a greenhouse.

Welcome from New Jersey , Bet you'll have a few bananas going down there in no time. Do you know what zone you're in? I know the southern tip of the eastern shore is zone 8 and surrounded by water , it would be a great sop to grow bananas.
