New to bananas
Avid gardener who always wanted to grow tropicals but without a greenhouse in the DC area and then Akron that wasn't going to work. Arrived in FL last Christmas and finally have a garden space. Picked up a Dwarf Cavendish on Mother's Day at Lowes on a whim. She's tripled in height; her leaves are now popping out in just under a week. And they're over 3' long! That's my friend Jack to the left; he along with 2 really tiny tree frogs visit often.
