My first hello
During a rare vacation, I was in San Juan, and fell in love with a “banana tree” in my hotel. Last fall (2011) I found an 8” high version of that “banana tree” at Home Depot. Yes, I said Home Depot. There were no instructions or information about it except it was labeled “Tropical Plant -Banana”. On-line, I learned a bit about banana plants and how to transplant them. Six months later, it’s still alive! Go figure. Now I want to learn how to keep it healthy. I just love it!
