Musa Tropicana
Hi i just got a banana plant musa Tropicana. I am growing banana for second time i grew one from seed but it died :'( so I bought a plant when i was shopping
But i decided to join here since people comments on this website on a forum on a gardening website. Any one have tips to growing them oh and i'm 10 bye! ![]() |

Welcome! Like previously said, there's no species under that name, but if you did indeed grow some from seed before, just make sure that if it happens again, only get seed that is large in size, not like the little things you find in store bought bananas. Those won't grow, they are not seeds.
Good luck with your new banana though. My best advice is to give it plenty of space to grow, plenty of heat but not too much, LOTS of water, and LOTS of nutrients. Compost, aged manure, or organic fertilizer are the best options but some people also use conventional fertilizers. Bananas like a lot of Potassium, so keep that in mind. |
