I am a philatelist and was fascinated with postage stamps with bananas on it. Now, I am putting together a philatelic exhibit about it. I think I might be the first one who will be exhibiting this topic. I am retired chemist living in the US, born in the Philippines, so I know about bananas growing up, but the history of it - how it spread all over the world, when?
Now am I trying to obtain some old canceled envelopes which is canceled from the countries who produces bananas, postcards, etc. NEED HELP! |

What it seems I actually have: Brazilian, Cavendish, Namwah, Dwarf Red, Gros Michel, Pisang Ceylon, Veinte Cohol and SH 3640, and American Goldfinger. FHIA 1, Paggi and FHIA 17... Always room for one more. |
