Welcome to the forum. I live in Pennsylvania and am growing a Dwarf Cavendish in my home. Growing under CFLs and sunlight from picture window.

Hi Banannie,

I am from Ohio too. Search these forums like you would a sale table at Walmart. You will find a lot of useful stuff. Happy Gardening!

Best,

Mike

Hi Cyndy and welcome!
It's good to see another "tropical garden stretcher" here on the forum (I'm in Pittsburgh) . My own journey began 4-5 years ago when I couldn't pass up $1 banana plants being sold by a teenager at a gas station in TN while visiting family there. Now with 10-12 varieties ... I had no clue that day that I would soon become a "banana wrestler" each October and April (digging out 6' p-stems and wrestling huge pots into the basement for the winter and out in the Spring)! ... Enjoy the journey, and all knowledge and good community spirit you'll find here.
