Live in Ohio
Hi,
I am new to the banana growing world and hope to learn lots from all of you banana growing enthusiasts. I currently have 4 banana plants. I live in Ohio and plan on bringing them inside for the winter. Thanks in advance for all your wisdom. |

Re: Live in Ohio
Hi Cyndy and welcome!
It's good to see another "tropical garden stretcher" here on the forum (I'm in Pittsburgh) . My own journey began 4-5 years ago when I couldn't pass up $1 banana plants being sold by a teenager at a gas station in TN while visiting family there. Now with 10-12 varieties ... I had no clue that day that I would soon become a "banana wrestler" each October and April (digging out 6' p-stems and wrestling huge pots into the basement for the winter and out in the Spring)! ... Enjoy the journey, and all knowledge and good community spirit you'll find here. |
