So if any of you members were watching the news this friday and saw the Metrolink crash out here in Chatsworth, California I am usually on that train.I had a fever the night before,and have been sick with a cold that week so I called into work friday morning telling them I was not going to be in that day.I am glad I called in sick or I dont want to know what would of happened to me if I was aboard the train either Die or have some serious injuries like my friends did that ride with me everyday.I had three friends that I sit with each day have some serious injuries,and that had to be air lifted and sent to UCLA Hospital for medical care.I have only been able to see one this morning.the other two are still in the hospital.I hope to see them soon.Anyway I am glad to be here telling you all this because I just had to let you all know what I just have gone through.Also I have not been around here I have been very busy working extra hours at work because we have been very busy with Fox Releasing Futurama again.

Wow, close call, glad your alright and that it worked out... sorry about your friends though!
My brother had a similar situation, a bus he usually takes was blown up one day that he didn't take it.

Your story sort of leaves me speechless...as anything I say wouldn't bring reality to that situation for most of us.

I just wanted to say thank you to those who have been welcoming me to the board or is there a problem with members thinking I am new to Bananas.org I keep on getting these messages sent to my e-mail welcoming me to the website or is this spam?

I joined here I believe about 6 years ago, thank's to Mitchel aka here as Momoese and just haven't been a active member.I have pretty much quit growing bananas and have been concentrating with Dragonfruit and my job.Where I live in the winter the temps are freezing with frost conditions,and in the summer it is usually triple digits so each season my bananas would just be bad news.
