Default identifying plants

Hi all Im new to this group, got a few different bananas plants in my garden,I'd like to find out more about banana plants, does anyone know if or where I can find a chart to identify different banana plants with photos and details of the leaves please ? Ive seen charts showing how different bananas look Thanks

sorry buddy, you have to do it the hard way. take pictures when they are fruiting, post the pics in banana identification and see what they say.

here is a picture that if anybody here can tell me what this banana is i will give away with shipping one of its sisters.

The variegation looks like "Tanee" but the red leaf petiole and width of leaf to length ratio looks a little off. The red petiole seems to fade away on yours and some of the lower leaves look more in line with Tanee. Of course a lot of those are seed grown and so variable. Could very well be a hybrid. Beautiful clone though.

Welcome to the group! Identifying banana plants can be fun. I'd suggest checking out gardening books or websites like https://www.growgardener.com/the-duck-flower/. They often have charts and detailed photos to help you distinguish between different banana plant varieties. I've found them super helpful in my gardening adventures. Happy plant hunting!
