Default Howdy from Texas!

I'm a new 2023 newbie to banana plants.

A friend gave me a couple pups (unkown variety) in the spring and I was surprised to learn that she gets bananas sometimes. So off I went to research properly caring for bananas in my zone.

Then I bought a Dwarf Cavendish and a Blue Java also. We love the way they look and what they add to our "yard" (we live on 5 acres).

I'm discovering they are like potato chips, I want MORE. The great thing is they are already producing pups like crazy so I'm sure I'll have plenty.

I know I'll enjoy this site and look forward to meeting other banana-peeps.

Later!
