Howdy
Hi, I just wanted to introduce myself.
I'm Tony O. & I was glad to find this site. I have a few plants here in NE Oklahoma, but I want more. LOL I don't get a lot of computer time. I'll pop in as often as I can, but it won't be as often as I would like to. |
Re: Howdy

Re: Howdy
Hi Tony! Hope things are growing well in Oklahoma this year. How are your yuccas doing?
For those who don't know, Tony has a yucca forum. The address is: http://www.voy.com/61134/ - Frank |
Re: Thanks
Thanks for the welcome & Frank, thanks for the plug. There used to be another good Yucca form that was always busy. I went on the road for a little over a year & when I got back home, it was gone. Several mentioned how it would be nice to have another one, so I just started it. It should catch on as time goes on. I don't have much in the way of Yucca here yet, but I'm working on it.
About bananas, my 1st banana plant was a dwarf Cav. that I found next to a trash can. Being the plant nut that I am, I couldn't just leave it there to be taken to the dump. Next thing, it produced a lot of pups. Traded & gave some away. I got hooked on tropicals. The rest is history. I have several different type banana plants now, some of what died over the past winter because I wasn't home to take care of them. I plan to replace them & add a few more varieties as I'm able. I'm planning to build a large green house so I can keep some growing year round. I want to be able to pick fresh grown bananas here in N. E. Oklahoma. Hay, don't laugh. It can happen. |
Re: Howdy
I'll have to share some of my Yucca/Aloe/drought tolerant kind of plants I have!
