Hi the UK
Hi Guys,
I'm new to the board and just thought i'd give a quick introduction. My name's Eddie and i'm living in a little village in Wiltshire in the UK. I'm just starting out with some Dwarf Cavendish and hopefully a Super Dwarf if my e-bay bid wins! Also growing some other minor exotics; a couple of pineapple guavas, a srawberry tree (not so exotic), oh and lots and lots of peppers and chillies too. Any tips on growing the Cavendish in the UK would be great? I'm rather an optimistic chap and i'm and hoping it may be possible to get some nanna's/fruit from my new Musas, this may not be so easy in the UK but if anyone has managed it then please get in touch with some tips. Meanwhile I will peruse this wonderful forum. I've already found lots of info here so well-done guys. Eddie

Re: Hi the UK
Thanks for the warm welcome guys. Cassie I see you're in the Dominican Republic, wow what a place to live. I saw my first ever real life banana plant at a plantation near Bavara which in fact left me with the insparaton to grow my own back at home.
Anyway thanks again. ps. I won my bid so now have a Super Dwarf coming to the family :-) Eddie.

Re: Hi the UK
Welcome welcome! I might not be any use for the UK part, but Cavendish is the banana of choice here in Ecuador. I'll help you out any way I can.
