Default Hi there,

a few days ago I bought two young banana plants: 1 Dwarf Cavendish and 1 FHIA 01 Goldfinger. They are from a mother plant. It is my first time having banana plants. I am living in the Alps at the German-Austrian border. Can I put them outside on my balcony in the summer time? Do they get fruits by keeping them in the living room in a pot? Thanks a lot for your answers and your support.

Default Re: Hi there,

Welcome!

I sent you an email earlier about the Goldfinger. I think you can try... just use a big pot and plenty of nutrients, but the chances are slim and you may be waiting a long time. And that's if you use a big enough container!
