Pinwheel Hi from Puerto Rico!

Hi all.

At first, I was not planning to write anything. To be honest my first intention on joining was to be able to read more threads (well played on limiting the number of visible posts before registering! kudos to whoever had the idea). Then after reading for awhile have to admit I was blown away by how nice and helpful the community seems with eachother. So thought why not say hi ))

I live in Puerto Rico. Moved back recently and decided to grow some stuff (im not an expert by any measure) but what little agriculture skills i owe to my grandparents which used to farm on small scale.

Currently I have some plantains (cooking bananas) trees, and actually found this forum looking for info about fertilization. I dont know the name of the kind of plantains i have, will figure out which ones they are or will post some pics for ID.

Anyway, lm looking forward to reading more, there seems to be a huge wealth of information in here! Happy banana growing you all.
