Hi from New York!
Hey everyone.
I am a bit of an exotic plant nut. I love trying to grow unusual things. I've rooted, grown and fruited a pineapple I got at the local grocery store, done the Avocado thing many times, have a papaya I grew from a seed, lots of palms, tons of odd peppers and many more. My co-worker calls me the "plant whisperer" as I just seem to have the green thumb. My mother in law gave me a Banana a few years ago (what kind? unknown) and it's been doing great, but never fruited. I figured I was neglecting something so I started searching for Banana fertilizer and stumbled upon this forum! Awesome. Of course living in New York, everything gets moved inside in fall much to my wife's chagrin! Thanks and looking forward to learning more!  |
