Hi from the Netherlands!
Been reading this forum for a while now but then finally decided to register!
I've been growing all kinds of plants, mostly edibles, for a while now and couldn't stop dreaming of having a beautiful banana plant as a centre piece in our small garden (during summer at least) for what seems like forever. Finally ordered some seeds online while ordering a few others and have been trying to germinate them since this winter with no luck! So here I am, hoping to learn a bit more from talking to you and listening to all the wisdom there is to share ^^ |

Re: Hi from the Netherlands!
Welcome to the Bunch. ...
Banana seeds are difficult to germinate. I believe they need to be very fresh. Ask & look around. There are live plants available in your area. |

Have fun here. You are going to be pressed to get bananas.....expect 3-6 years before you see a flower. |
