Default Hi Everybody

I was invited to the group a few days ago by a really nice member. I have read a little and I know I will enjoy being in a place with other plant enthusiasts. I do have a couple of bananas and a dwarf plantain and I am sure there will be more in the future.

I have a little mailorder nursery in central Florida where I grow the sort of things I love myself. I try to have fruits ripen every month of the year. I am not the traditional grandma in the kitchen, but I do have healthy treats in the garden for my grandchildren. And I love flowers. The tropics have such beautiful flamboyant trees and I wish I could grow them all.

Farming/gardening has been a way of life for all the generations of my family. It is sad that family farms have nearly disappeared, but the love of growing things is still strong in most folks. And what fruit is more beloved than bananas

Glad to meet you, TE
