Bananas Brindando Hi All!

I'm so excited to be a part of this forum. There is so much to know and as you all know, bananas and plants in general don't tell. I just watched the germination video and started soaking M. lasiocarpa and M. velutina. Do they both get soaked for 2 weeks? Do they require scarification at all?

Hello Scotti. and Welcome

Your seeds only need soak for 24 or 48 Hours, if just harvested.
Fluctuation of temps is helpful, but not higher than 90F.

a heat mat and a timer is a great help to germinate the banana seeds.

Welcome to the forum. There are lots of good threads and postings on how to germinate banana seeds, too.
