Hello-How to care for bananas??
Hi everyone I found this site while I was researching the internet on how to care for bananas. I own a produce store in Kissimmee, FL and have no idea what the storage requirement is on bananas. I was wondering if they can be refrigerated and then taken out to place on the stands. I would love if someone can help me with this. You all seem like you know so much about the bananas.

Welcome aboard!
Throw some in the fridge on your next shipment, take them out in a week or two, let them ripen, eat them, and see how they compare to those that you didn't. Hopefully somebody has some more info for you. Most of us here are not commercial growers or produce stores, so we're not faced with the same challenges.
