![]() Hello everyone my name is Sam. I am new to growing bananas, I will actually be starting them tomorrow! I was just looking for some advice and found this forum. I look forward to learning and hopefully helping people grow bananas in the future.
I am unsure of what banana variety it is. I will post that when I know. I love growing fruits and veggies. I am currently growing 10 different types of tomatoes, 4 types of peppers, 2 types of lettuce and an avocado seed that is two months in, all indoors. I have grown indoors for years and love it. I also own an indoor/outdoor/hydroponics store called The Interior Tomato in Duluth MN. Other than that I have another job, 2 kids, a wife and love poker. Anything else, just ask! Thanks for your time, Sam- |

![]() Welcome to the forum!
How is the old "SS Meteor" doing? It's been a few years since I've been up that way. Is the ice out of the harbor yet? ![]()

![]() Are you referring to the William A Irving? And yes, the ice is gone for now. Did you catch the news by chance? Duluth was hit with 10" if rain. It flooded a lot of the city. 100 million in damage. Worst thing to happen here ever. But noone was injured or killed. Thank Bananas!

![]() Welcome! Whatever the variety you are growing, as long as it is an actual dessert type/edible one, that's all that matters, nanners are delicious! And especially when they aren't grown in another country, soaked in pesticides, and picked too soon by labor workers.
I too am relatively new to bananas (only been doing this for a full year now) but I also grow lots of other veggies/fruits. My tomato, pepper, etc varieties exceed 10 each though. I love variety, especially old unusual and unbeatably delicious ones. |
