Hello everyone
Hello from philly. I figured it would be great to join this forum being a banana grower. I have had my basjoo and overwintering it for 3 winters so far as well as my tropical ones i grow and overwinter inside. Currently trying to get a banana tree to fruit outside during our summer here in philly. Other then the basjoo i plant most of my bananas in the spring into the ground and are dug about frost time and stored inside overwinter.

Putting them in the ground as long as possible helps them bloom. |
