Hello Every One!!
 

Hi, I'm new to this forum, from Tijuana, Mex. I have been reading a lot about how to grow bananas, I dont have any now, I have a lot of space for growing them I would like to plant Williams and Ice cream. I'm in zone 9-10 when would be the correct time to plant? If any of you guys will be willing to part with any for alow price :p or for postage to start me out. I apreciate any help.

P.S. the plant would have to be 12"-18". and thank you for all the wonderfull information on here

You can probably plant them out now without any losses. Once you get them, repot them into larger pots, get them back to active growth, then move them into the ground. The problem you may have now is finding someone to ship them out, and if you do find someone to ship them, it may be cold somewhere that the delivery will stop in on it's way to you. So be careful ordering now!
I'm in a zone 10 or so here, too, and I plant year 'round with virtually zero problems.
Once the weather warms up, there will be plenty of plants changing hands here and on the other banana sites.
