Hello from Denver Co
Hello,
My name is Cricket. I'm finding a lot of great information and a fun community here. I've had many cold hardy musa over the years in Missouri, but I've recently moved back to Denver. I currently have a Musa Basjoo and a Dwarf Cavendish, zone 5a. Thinking they might do okay in my south-facing sunroom this winter. I'm going to leave them in pots to overwinter and think I might put the m. Basjoo in the ground next spring/summer. I can't wait for pups. To me that's when it gets fun the potting up and playing in the dirt. I love these trees and gardening. I look forward to learning more and to contributing if I can. I'm usually frustrated because I tend to lean my growing and gardening interests toward what's going to be the most challenging I'm glad to be here, thanks! |

[Welcome. I'm in Longmont and currently have a Dwf Cavendish in bloom.
If your sun room is heated in winter your plants should do great. Greg |

Yep, it's heated! The sun room was a big reason why I chose this house. I am excited to get back into my banana tree obsession! |
