Hello from Calgary, AB

Hi Everybody!

New to the forum here and most plant growing in general. Picked up a couple of dwarf citrus trees recently and while on the hunt for a dwarf cavendish tree I was recommended to this forum.

Hoping to learn a bunch about do's and don'ts of growing bananas and maybe even find somebody willing to sell a piece of their (or a small) dwarf cavendish tree!

So, umm, hello!

Thanks for the warm welcome. -31*C at my house this morning, and it looks like over the next 2 days it is getting worse. Even inside my house by the outside walls we are under 10*C in a couple places, and the furnace is running a lot. I live in a pretty old house with no insulation in the walls, so this is par for the course. Good thing my plants are all on the inside walls of the house and are keeping nice and warm

This is a little below seasonal, but not abnormal for this time of year.

Chironex, I don't suppose you would be able to recommend anybody in my area?
