Default Hello Banana Group!!
Hello Group, My name is Bill and I live in Roseville, CA. I am a newbie in the Banana and Tropical fruit growing world, but is definitely my new passion. Just built a 25' Dome this year to grow my future harvests in. I am currently growing Mango's, Papaya, White Jade Pineapple, and of course my coveted Banana's.
I currently have a Praying Hands, Grand Nain, Pisang Raja, Dwarf Namwa, and Mysore Pysang Ceylon. All still 1' to 2' tall. Think I would like to still add a couple more like a blue java, and a brazilian apple.
Maybe through feedback from you all I can find another fine tasting sweet diamond that I never heard of. Always appreciate any feedback. Look forward to advancing my learning curve with you guys.

Welcome to the banana nut club.

As far as recommendations, you have Brazilian, good one. My number 3 fave. #2 is Gros Michel and #1, a little tougher to come by, is Paggi.

Varieties I supposedly bought: Manzano, Cavendish, Blue Java, Sweetheart, and Gros Michel.
What it seems I actually have: Brazilian, Cavendish, Namwah, Dwarf Red, Gros Michel, Pisang Ceylon, Veinte Cohol and SH 3640, and American Goldfinger. FHIA 1, Paggi and FHIA 17... Always room for one more.
