I live in the UK and have recently had some success in germinating and growing on ensete glaucum and ventricosum seeds

they are still young, but fingers crossed.

I use coir pots that you plant on without removing the seedling. I sterilised everything in the microwave and I water with a weak solution of cheshunt compound (copper sufate based fungicide), but there is a dubious looking fungus growing on the outside of the pots that seems to be immune to copper sulfate. I suspect that it is a fungus I have transfered from my fingers. Does anyone know if this could be potentially harmful to my little seedlings? If so what other fungicide could I use?

Also I'm looking for some musa cavendishii super dwarf seeds/pups, does anyone know where I can get them?

Try spraying the fungi with a strong solution of Green Tea that kills fungi and bacteria or you could try a 10% bleach and water mix but id be vary careful not to get any on the plants although this is a separate situation i often sprinkle Cinnamon powder around my new seedling really helps with damping off and iv noted that if there no fungi to begin with it never seams to grow if i get there first

Chamomile tea solution is even better than green tea as a natural fungicide. I tried several types of teas and Chamomile works the best in my experience. (I used to use green tea) It's nice because you don't have to worry about residual effects on plants and it's organic for those concerned about this type of thing.
I make 2 tea bags in a cup of boiling water, steep it for 15 minutes, then let it cool to room temp and pour into a spray bottle. Really helps with fungus. The cinnamon works great to help prevent damping-off as Damaclese said. It works like a charm.
