Welcome aboard, Steve
! Wish I could help but I live in the U.S. and already gave all my Blue Java pups away. Ante's right (Dalmatiansoap). Blue Java's are seedless. You'll probably need to find someone with Blue Javas in Europe OR a lisenced plant exporter.Anyway, It's a very friendly & info-packed site here. If you have any questions about using the forum (or anything else), just ask. Enjoy! |

Welcome mate!!! Whereabouts are you in the UK? You know that Blue Java are honking great plants the size of Sabas and Orinocos - something dwarf might be better to manage.

Cassie's got a point. Mine are up 12-14 feet tall. Also, Blue Javas are extreme heat lovers. We had 7 consecutive days in the 100's this summer & my Blue Javas loved it.
Not sure what the weather is like in the UK, but ya might wanna check out more cold-hardy nanners that like humidity. Of course, if youre as crazy as me, you'll try Blue Javas anyway! I totally Luv a challenge (no matter How ludicrous ) !Oh, one caution, nanners do not like sea salt so, if ya live near a shoreline, might wanna re-do the soil to reduce salt content. |

Oh, well you'll fit right in here, then! LOL. Hope you enjoy the site! It's not gonna help the banana addiction though....only makes it worse! It's like an alcoholic working at a bar.
