Hello
Hi all,
New to banana plants just bought my first Musa Basjoo. I have it in a Lachuza Quatro 43 self watering pot in my living room with biobizz soil. I'm from Manchester in the UK and yeah looking to learn and keep a healthy vibrant plant. |

Welcome
Your pots need to drain well, if you find that your soil is not drying out it may be the self watering pot. Plants in wet soil too long may turn leaves yellow and or rot the roots. Keep an eye out for over watering.

Welcome to bananas. Wish you the best of luck and I to have a self watering pot but I use mine for other plants and the potting soil I use, I ended mixing in some perlite for better drainage.
