Hello!
Hi All
My name is Emily, I am from the UK near London. I am very lucky to have a relatively large garden for the area and I love gardening. At home every year my dad would have a beautiful banana plant in a large tub (he never had much success over wintering them) and he has passed on his love of these plants to me. This year we have both been trying to germinate seeds but with little success. So I bought us both Musa Basjoo pups, which are doing well and I am going to try seeds again soon, so expect questions 😉 Thanks for letting me join, Emily |

Re: Hello!
Sikkimensis: Bought some from "Seeds from Hungary". Very good germination (better than 50%), BUT no idea if true Sikkimensis - not at all comfortable as bought 8 other seed packs and not one germinated and one of them was wildly mislabelled. . . but they were not expensive.
For all the experts out there - how does one tell if seed is accurately named (or seedling for that matter - mine are now one foot tall). Or does one have to wait till they flower or ??? |
