Hello
It's going to be great to be part of a worldwide society for bananas....I hope everyone is as friendly as I have seen thus far!
I not only have a huge interest in bananas I have also recently discovered that my heritage is from a long standing family of commercial banana growers in Queensland, Australia. (Must be in the blood) If anyone has knowledge of the Johnston families in Australia I am seeking out my lineage. I am particularly looking for Robert Douglas Johnston who served in the UK during WWII. It is believed his family to be from the Queensland area. Please contact me if you have any knowledge of the Australia growers... assistance would be greatly appreciated. Have a great day! |

Re: Hello
Stephen that is exciting, good luck in your search! I used to work on geneology for our family and need to get back at it!!
I love Atlanta! We used to live in Dahlonega before we moved up to Kentucky and still go down your way a couple times a year. What kind of bananas do you have? |
