Hiya Greetings from Florida

Hello banana growers!
I am new at growing bananas but have gardening experience.
I planted a banana mat a month ago, a Lady Finger variety which has settled in and grown a few new leaves.
The banana is planted in a new landscaoe area I created over lawn by covering it over with mulch layering. Besides the banana, other planting include Florida natives and an orange tree.
I hope to get help and share tips about banana growing on this forum.
Lydie
