Greetings Fellow Banana Enthusiasts
Hot and spicy greetings from southeast Louisiana to all of you. I live outside Baton Rouge, Louisiana and we are fortunate that we have hot and humid weather and a very long growing season which the bananas love. Looking forward to exchanging growing tips and other various information concerning these beautiful plants. In fact, I need some help in indentifying some of the bananas which we have growing in our yard. In the near future I hope to post some pictures of the bananas which we have incorporated into our landscape. Best wishes to all of you and have a great day. Louisiana Pete.

Welcome, Pete. You do sure have the warmth and humidity that bananas love. I remember when I was on a special work assignment in Lafayette in August 1988 and the office staff smiled while watching us California guys melt.
 I remember a guy named Clay smiling and saying "Well, boys....it's going to be a hundred and hundred today!" LOL I think I usually took three showers a day. Good luck with your nanners!
