greetings! any other zone 5's out there?
I started Musa cavendish ‘Super Dwarf’ in a 12"pot last year - it only grew to about 18" & no fruit. I overwintered it indoors with southern exposure. Any tips?
I have a new Musa ‘Rajapuri’ & want to know if planting in a raised bed (I have clay soil - nutrient rich and not prone to being waterlogged) OR planting in an 18" pot would be more likely to allow it to yield fruit ---with southern & western exsposure. |

You can plant them out side for summer, but will need to dig up move them back inside to overwinter, or build heated shelter around them!

Las Vegas, near Damacles. Moving there end of June or first part of July. Nothing grows there but cactus, but I am going to find a way.....
Wish me luck. Thanks. |
